Description:

Bay Leaves are olive green, oval-shaped leaves with sturdy, slightly rough edges and have a sweet, full-bodied aroma.

Applications:

Bay Leaf is used in a variety of cuisines including French, Mediterranean and American.  Bay leaf's big flavor is an important ingredient in beef stews, crab boils, chicken stock, soups, and a variety of sauces.  The leaf is generally removed from the dish before serving.
