Marjoram Origin:

Mediterranean Area, North America, Western Asia

Description: Marjoram is a sweeter, milder cousin of oregano with small, velvet-like, gray-green round leaves. It has a delicate, sweet, pleasant flavor with a slightly bitter undertone.
Applications: Marjoram's mellow taste and enticing fragrance make it compatible with a wide variety of foods.  It goes especially well with turkey, rabbit, and chicken. It is well suited to starchy and strong-flavored vegetables.
